At Intuit, our mission is to power prosperity around the world. This is why we’re committed to finding new ways to help app developers grow their business, while providing them with the best experience and tools to create innovative applications for accountants, mid-market, and small business customers.
Today we’re excited to announce that three new application developers have joined the Developer Growth Program pilot. The program is designed to help app developers succeed with more than 4.5 million small businesses around the world that run on the QuickBooks platform. Our objectives for the program include helping developers maximize their marketing impact, connect with more customers, and increase their app revenue.
The spring 2023 cohort is participating in a six-month initiative where each developer will work closely with the Intuit Developers & Partners group to identify and test growth opportunities. The cohort will have access to an exclusive network of accountants, UX experts, solution architects, and go-to-market managers, as well as the opportunity to gain increased visibility within our QuickBooks and developer communities.
Meet our cohort
The apps participating in our new cohort focus on solving problems for accountants and mid-market customers in the construction and manufacturing industries. See the app summaries from our cohort below, including links to their app listings in the QuickBooks App Store:
Buildertrend: Buildertrend is the leading residential construction management platform designed to help contractors manage their projects from start to finish. Builders can stay on top of costs, suppliers, staff, and more in one convenient place—and take on more projects without adding paperwork and stress. To keep financials in check and ensure accuracy with accounting, Buildertrend integrates with QuickBooks, allowing users to automatically sync financial information between the two platforms. This integration leads to greater visibility into financial performance by streamlining processes and transferring project-level data from Buildertrend to QuickBooks. This allows Buildertrend customers to drive project profitability, increase cash flow visibility, improve accounting practices, and ultimately find efficiency and growth in their businesses.
Katana: Thousands of manufacturers build in the cloud with Katana. Bundled with QuickBooks Online, Katana streamlines accounting, inventory, and production in an intuitive cloud manufacturing platform. Katana also connects with the services you need to be an end-to-end ERP solution without the bulk. Don’t die with desktop apps and version updates; the future is in the cloud.
Uncat: Thousands of accountants and bookkeepers have switched from sending spreadsheets of uncategorized transactions to their clients every month to using Uncat. In 2022, Uncat helped accounting professionals fix 175,000 uncategorized transactions worth more than $450 million. Uncat syncs with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop and gets client responses back fast so you can close the books without feeling like you’re herding cats. All for just $5/month per client.
